Welcome to our BlueLearning site
BlueKolding is the utility company for the entire Kolding Municipality. We treat the municipality’s wastewater, provide drinking water in Christiansfeld, and generate electricity and heat by utilizing resources from wastewater. We want a world without waste, and we aim to inspire others to do the same.
To reach as many people as possible with our philosophy, we have created BlueLearning, which is a free educational offer for institutions in Kolding Municipality, ranging from preschools to high schools. The goal of BlueLearning is to give children of all ages the opportunity to learn about our important work and to grow up with knowledge of how they can contribute to preserving our nature, help the environment, and enhance society. Everyone interested is welcome to use the materials on our website for teaching. You are also very welcome to contact us for a tour or an educational program. Currently, our teaching materials are in Danish, but institutions from preschools to universities are welcome to contact us for programs in both Danish and English.
Would you like a guided tour?
Do you want to learn more about what BlueKolding does for you and the environment? Book a guided tour, where you get the opportunity to get up close to our facilities and systems. The tour takes place at our central treatment plant, Stenderupvej 95, 6091 Bjert, and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. If you want additional theory in our meeting room at the facility, you should allocate 2-2.5 hours in total. There is room for a maximum of 20 people in each group.
